The Guild Hall is a community organization and relies extensively on volunteers to function.
The Guild is managed with the help of a volunteer board of directors. Volunteer opportunities with the Guild are diverse.
Actors are chosen through an audition process which is advertised in the local newspapers and on this website. While experienced actors are usually offered the larger roles, there are sometimes opportunities for beginners in smaller parts. Some of our productions require 20 or more actors ranging in age from 16 to 70 plus.
In our musical productions, dancers, choreographers and musicians are required.
Volunteers are required in the areas of costumes, hair/makeup, set dressing, property management, set building, painting, lighting, and stage management.
There is opportunity to learn these various areas of expertise through volunteering.
A number of front of house volunteers are needed for the box office and bar.
